A recent award called Poetry at Round Top "Finest Paradise for Poets --new, small, powerfully charged, and incredibly intimate." The Festival Hill campus at Round Top, Texas (between Austin and Houston) is an inspirational setting with two hundred acres of rolling meadows, woods, ponds, gardens, Victorian architecture, and Roman follies. The three-day schedule includes a rich variety of featured readings, writing and publication workshops, participant readings, conversations on craft, and unique music-and-word concerts. Overnight accommodations and meals are available on campus and also in the charming village of Round Top. Early enrollment is recommended.
