Description:

Offering writing workshops, master classes and special events during seven days in July, the Taos Summer Writers' Conference is the largest such conference in the state and the only one in New Mexico sponsored by The University of New Mexico Department of English Language and Literature. Summer 2012 marks the fourteenth year of the Conference. All special evening events are free and open to the public.

We offer need-based, merit-based, and minority-based scholarships, including a Taos Resident Award, a Native Writer Award, two Leo Love Merit Scholarships, and the D.H. Lawrence Fellowship.
