Daily Briefing Lectures: One topic per evening. Learn why an independent editor might be the answer to your publishing woes and how to make your manuscript recession proof. Plus learn from the experiences of two first-time authors. Hear first-hand how publishing worked -- or didn't -- for a novelist and a memoirist. Manuscript Consultations: Feed back on your manuscript during one-on-one sessions with publishing professionals. Space is limited. Lunchtime Reads: Each day, gather for lunch and to hear Writers Institute faculty read from their work. Literary Happy Hour: On Friday evening, May 8, from 5-6 p.m., rub elbows (and clink glasses) with the Institute's authors and literary professionals.
