Description:

In its eighth year, the Tinker Mountain Writers' Workshop is a one-week experience at Hollins University. Surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountain, prepare to be inspired and transformed. You'll be led by nationally renowned writing instructors in small classes, and interact with fellow writers in poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction. Faculty and student readings, in-class critiques, manuscript reviews, individual conferences, social gatherings, and significant interaction with faculty outside the classroom. New this year is the opportunity to connect and share insight about the mutual pursuit of the creative arts with visual artists participating in the Women Working with Clay Symposium. For additional information, contact Christine Powell at cpowell@hollins.edu or 540-362-6229.
