| Description: | Program: Join Peter Murphy in the country of his birth for an extraordinary writing Getaway limited to just 15 participants. You will work each morning immersed in this breathtaking landscape which inspired the legend of King Arthur and the Welsh epic The Mabinogion. Peter's unique assignments will challenge you to stretch your imagination by exploring your personal myth to produce new poems or prose based on life experiences, fantasies and dreams. After lunch you will be free to continue writing, wander the grounds, explore castles, go hiking, pony trekking or just relax. In the evening we will gather (Some nights around a campfire!) in a relaxed workshop where you will get encouragement and direction to take your new work to the next level. Whether you write poetry or prose, you will return home from this adventure energized by the rugged mountain scenery and excited to continue writing. Register today. You won't regret it. Setting: Myth, Mountain & Imagination will be held at Trigonos, a retreat centre on a working farm located on Lake Nantlle in Northwest Wales. There are plenty of nooks, crannies and lovely places to write, both inside and out. Includes: 7 days, 6 nights at Trigonos Retreat Centre, the workshop and all meals, beginning with dinner on Saturday and concluding with breakfast on Friday morning. Fees do not include transportation, gratuities or Optional Excursions. Limited to just 15 participants & places are going fast. Register today! wales.murphywriting.com | ||
