Faculty:Regular DWC faculty members include poets Philip Memmer and Georgia Popoff, and fiction writers Jennifer Pashley and Chris DelGuercio. Other authors join the DWC staff each season.
Description:

The DWC is the community center for the literary arts in the Central New York State region, and offers 15-20 visiting author readings and 30-40 creative writing workshops each year.

Readings at the DWC include a wide range of authors, from first-time novelists to Pulitzer Prize-winning poets and Poet Laureates. Recent and upcoming visitors include Ted Kooser, Sapphire, Charles Simic, Martha Collins, Brigit Pegeen Kelly and Claudia Emerson.

DWC Workshops include courses in fiction, poetry, dramatic writing, non-fiction and journalism, and WIT, the Writer's Individual Tutorial program. The DWC also offers one-day retreats at various times during the year.
