Description:

This seven-day immersion into workshops, classes, panel discussions, readings, book signings & receptions is designed for those who are passionate about the art of literature and the fellowship of other writers. Our workshops offer generous individual attention and constructive criticism in a positive atmosphere. Workshops, each limited to 12 students, are geared toward serious writers of poetry, creative nonfiction, fiction (including short stories and novels that span and cross genres), and literature for children and young adults. Panel discussions with literary agents, editors, publishers, and our faculty will also enable students to learn about all aspects of the literary journey, from manuscript preparation to the ups and downs of submitting and publishing one's work. Visit our website or email solstice@pmc.edu for details.
