Description: Seven days of morning workshop meetings in poetry, literary nonfiction, and fiction, with a focus on generating new work. The workshops offer challenging exercises, reading and critiquing work, and discussion of technique. Class size is limited. Each evening includes public readings from instructors, visiting writers, and workshop participants. Whether you've been writing for years, recently graduated from an MFA program, or have just now decided to take the leap out of your private notebooks and into a classroom, you'll find a workshop here to meet your literary goals. Workshop participants live on the idyllic campus of Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio (about an hour northeast of Columbus, Ohio) for the week.
