| Description: | The Indiana University Writers' Conference offers workshops, classes, panel discussions, craft talks, as well as nightly readings by the conference faculty. Our workshops foster close working relationships between teachers and workshop participants, ensuring that conference participants receive extensive advice and encouragement. Each workshop meets for two hours, Monday through Thursday, with shorter meetings on Sunday and Friday. We also offer a range of classes for the beginner to the working writer. Classes in poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and literary publishing meet for 50 minutes, Monday through Thursday. The classes will offer insight into the craft of writing, as well as exercises designed to stimulate new writing. |
