Description: The Antioch Writers' Workshop is held at the Glen Helen Nature Preserve in the village of Yellow Springs, Ohio. The atmosphere is warm and intimate.

Morning Lectures: During three consecutive lectures--fiction, poetry and narrative nonfiction--noted authors tell you how to hone your craft and keep your writing fresh.

Faculty Lunches: Participants have the opportunity to go to lunch in small groups with faculty for less formal discussions about writing and the writing life.

Afternoon Sessions: Professionals speak on the business side of writing and the First Book Talk features workshop alumni who've gone on to publish their work. During optional Afternoon Seminars, participants "workshop" their manuscripts. Literary agents are on hand to answer questions and take part in "pitch sessions." Private manuscript consultations with faculty are available at an additional charge.

Evening Activities: Lively readings, stimulating panel discussions and dramatic presentations feature faculty and special guests. Coffee House Readings provide an opportunity for participants to listen to the work of fellow writers and read from their own work.
